Props to Home Cooks for Christmas Cake!

I must say... a heck of a lot goes into making a Christmas cake...

And then, after all that, one must ice and decorate it.This involves actually rolling out the marzipan and the icing...something I never would have even imagined having to do... but it was so worth it. It made a really nice tasting cake, good with a warm cup of coffee, with brandy cream.

Three cheers for the home bakers who kept this tradition going! This, and the Christmas pudding were leaps and bounds better than store bought!
